DESCRIPTION:Connect with your creativity and draw inspiration from nature at this ‘no-art-skills’ workshop.\n\nWe’ll use watercolour to experiment with natural alternatives to brushes such as feathers\, sticks and leaves\, embellishing with watercolour pencils and fine liners. You’ll learn simple and fun techniques like paint trails\, and stamping to discover random mark-making that can be developed for interesting results.\n\nThis workshop builds on the previous workshop (held on 29th March) however previous attendance is not a prerequisite. All materials are provided\, and a light morning tea is included.

You’re not alone.  \nThis relaxed\, beginner-friendly workshop covers the essentials—materials\, setup\, cleaning\, mediums\, solvents\, and the basics of colour mixing (including why value matters more than you think). Once you’ve got the foundations\, you’ll create your own interpretation of a local coastal scene—no rigid rules\, just guidance and space to explore. We’ll pause midway for tea or coffee to reflect\, chat\, and check in on your progress. \nA low-pressure way to get familiar with oil painting and see if it’s for you. \nThe Tutor \nSarah is a visual artist whose work explores the interplay between ocean\, sky\, and land.
