Presented by Holly Humphreys, who lived in China for five years whilst working and studying and returned to Australia in 2015 and moved to Apollo Bay that same year. Holly has a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Chinese Language and Culture Studies, a Master of Journalism as well as a Master of International Development. Her passion is understanding cross-cultural contexts, particularly relevant to local tourism for the growing Asian market, one that provides Chinese guests with experiences and services that surpass expectations. For the past two years, Holly has been an integral part of a small business in Apollo Bay. Her observations inspired her to develop this program in order to create greater understanding and better relationships with Chinese residents in Apollo Bay and guests who visit. This is not a language course, but rather a intercultural exploration.
