Have you ever thought of organising a telehealth appointment with your specialist or health care provider when travel is not an option? Unsure about how to book the appointment or what is required to make the call? Our community telehealth hub is here to help.

If you don’t have access to a personal mobile or ipad/computer or do not feel comfortable setting up the call on your own device, then book an appointment
with the Marrar Woorn Neighbourhood House and our staff will guide you through the process.

Breast Screening Bus

Take the bus to your next breast screen appointment.

Twice a year, a small bus to takes women from Apollo Bay and Forrest to breast screening appointments in Geelong with Breast Screen Victoria.

Breast Screen Victoria invites women aged 50-74 who do not have breast symptoms for a free breast screen every two years. Women over 40 are eligible to attend.

The bus leaves from Apollo Bay, picks up in Forrest and then there is time for a quick shop or lunch at Waurn Ponds. Cost for return transport is $15 per person.

Free Financial Counselling appointments

Rhonda Mahoney provides confidential information and support for individuals, families and groups who are experiencing debt problems. Counselling on debt management, negotiating with creditors and budgeting is available, as well as information on bankruptcy, credit laws and government assistance.

Rhonda is from Colac Area Health and visits Marrar Woorn fortnightly.
