Victorian Government Funding & Data Collection

Marrar Woorn Neighbourhood House is a Learn Local provider and RTO which means we receive funding to enable us to provide low-cost subsidised courses. This funding comes from The Victorian Government, through the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Region (‘the Department’).

As part of this funding arrangement we are required to provide the Department with student and training activity data. This includes personal information collected in our online booking enrolment form and unique identifiers such as the Victorian Student Number (VSN) and the Commonwealth’s Unique Student Identifier (USI).

In order to book a subsidised course, you must consent to the release of information regarding your class participation to any government department or referring agency. Failure to provide your personal information may mean that it is not possible for you to enrol in a government subsidised course.

Please contact us should you require further information.
