24/7 Legend is all about two key components: Beach safety/survival and CPR.

Beach safety and survival:
Various beach dangers on our local beaches…
Understanding what makes waves and the different types
Identifying rip currents and how to survive them
Rescue types with/without equipment
Signage – how to understand them
Envenomation – Jelly fish, snakes, sting rays (etc)

Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR):
What to do in an emergency
Primary survey (DRSABCD)
When do you call 000?
Patient assessment and the recovery/lateral position
Defibrillation awareness – yes, you can operate a defibrillator too!
Handing over to emergency services

The course runs for three hours and includes a slide presentation, videos, practical demonstrations and ‘hands-on’ training.
You will learn skills and knowledge that can save the life of someone close to you. At the end of the training, printed information will be available to take home.
